SCENE ONE
Calling all the monsters-song and opening dance
All students on the stage to dance. Then exit stage right.
SCENE TWO
Seamus, Isabella, Imogen and Oscar enter carrying camping gear
Seamus: This looks like a good place to camp for the night.
Isabella: I'm not sure, looks a bit creepy
Imogen: Do you have any better suggestions?
Isabella: Yeah, let's all go home.
Oscar: Come on Aiva, don't be frightened, we haven’t even started telling spooky stories yet.
Seamus: I’ve got the fire wood.
Imogen: I've got the snacks for our midnight feast.
Oscar Does anyone know any scary stories?
Isabella: I do!
Seamus: I thought you were too afraid?
Isabella: Wait till you hear my story, then you will be frightened too! Once upon a time there was a School just for witches and monster children
Seamus: You mean hogwarts?
Isabella: No! This place was for the most wicked children. The teacher was the worst of all!
Scary music comes on. Seamus, Isabella, Oscar and Imogen exit, taking the props with them.
SCENE THREE
Luna, enters with her cauldron
Luna: Why are all the children late? Come on! Hurry up!
Marnie: I’m late because….
Luna: Well done, go and sit down. Who's next?
Lucius: I’m late because…
Luna: Well done, go and sit down. Who's next?
Olivia: I'm late because…
Luna: Well done, go and sit down. Who's next?
Fabian: I’m late because...
Luna: Well done, go and sit down. Who's next?
Katie: I’m late because…
Luna: Well done, go and sit down. Who’s next?
Edie: I’m late because...
Olivia: What are we doing today?
Luna: Putting a spell on all the Mams and Dads
Katie: Why?
Luna: To turn them into frogs!
Olivia: No parents means no rules
Marnie: I can stay up late
Edie: I can eat loads of candy
Luna: We need disgusting ingredients
All children rush off to get their disgusting ingredients, and place them into the cauldron. “I put a spell on you” comes on and the kids grab a handful of the potion to throw at the parents.

SCENE FOUR
Seamus, Isabella, Imogen and Oscar enter carrying camping gear
Isabella: All the parents turned into frogs!
Imogen: Urghhhh
Oscar: You think that was a scary story, wait till you hear mine. I'm going to tell you the story of the three little pigs.
Seamus: That's hardly a scary story. Three little pigs and running around into each other's houses
Oscar: no one said it was the original tale…

SCENE FIVE
Enter Allana and Jayden
Allana: We have no food left in this house
Jayden: Our three sons keep eating it all.
Allana: And this place is so messy!
Jayden: They need to move out and find their own homes.
Allanna: Boys? Come here!
Enter Carter, Fabian and Benjamin
Benjamin: yes mam?
Allana: it's time for you three boys to move out.
Jayden: You keep eating all of the food and making the house a mess.
Allana: You need to find our own homes.
Allana and Jayden exit stage, William enters carrying a bag of drinking straws.
Carter: There is a man carrying straw, I will ask him if I can have his straw to build my house! Excuse me kind sir, can I have your straw to build my house?
William: Yes!
William exits stage
Carter: Perfect, my house looks great!
Enter Piper
Piper: Little pig, little pig, let me come in.
Carter: Not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin.
Piper: Well I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow this house in.
Wind noise effect, Piper chases Carter off the stage, an eating sound effect.
Grace enters carrying a bag of Sticks
Benjamin: There is a girl carrying Sticks, I will ask her if I can have those sticks to build my house! Excuse me, can I have your sticks to build my house?
Grace: Yes!
Grace exits stage
Benjamin: Perfect, my house looks great!
Enter Piper
Piper: Little pig, little pig, let me come in.
Benjamin:Not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin.
Piper: Well I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow this house in.
Wind noise effect
Piper chases Benjamin off the stage,
an eating sound effect.
Reina enters carrying a bag of Bricks
Fabian:There is a girl carrying bricks, I will ask her if I can have those bricks to build my house! Excuse me, can I have your bricks to build my house?
Reina: Yes!
Reina exits stage
Fabian: Perfect, my house looks great!
Enter Piper
Piper: Little pig, little pig, let me come in.
Fabian:Not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin.
Piper: Well I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow this house in.
Wind noise affect
Fabian: You will never be able to blow my house down. It is too strong for you.
Fabian calls up all of his friends
Fabian: Hello friends? I need your help.
All saturday 3-7 cast enter
Fabian: We need a plan to finally catch the big bad wolf!
Jayden: We need to light a fire
Allana: Get a big pot full of water
William: I'll get some carrots
Carter: I'll get potatoes
Fabian: We need to shout for the wolf
ALL: Wolf!
Piper enters
Piper: are you going to let me in?
ALL: no way hahahaha!
Piper: I will get in! You will see. Haha i will climb up on the roof and go down the chimney
Piper sneaks behind the children as they all stand around the pot looking up, as if to hear the wolf on the roof. Just then the wolf burst through the children and straight into the pot.
Children cheer! And get a bowl of Wolf stew.

SCENE SIX
Seamus, Isabella, Imogen and Oscar enter carrying camping gear
Oscar: I told you it had a wicked twist!
Seamus: actually wolf stew doesn’t sound that bad! Mmmm im starving! Who has the snacks?
Isabella: Me. Here you go. (hands him a snack) so does anyone else have any stories?
Imogen: I have one. Once upon a time, there was a child, who had no mother or father, this poorly lonely little child ended up in a horrible place, where children worked day and night. They are cold and dirty and are only fed gruel. This treacherous place was known as a workhouse.

SCENE SEVEN
Saturday older students enter. Students line up, one behind the other, down stage right backs to the audience. Singing and marching
Isabella (Mrs Bumble) and Seamus (Mr Bumble) carry on paper bowls, a cauldron and ladle and stand down stage left.
Evie, Imogen, Kieran Leo, Ellie, Libby, line up and march towards the Bumbles, receiving a bowl of disgusting gruel. Music is playing.
“Is it worth the waiting for? If we live 'till eighty-four, All we ever get is Gruel.
Everyday we say our prayer, Will they change the bill of fare, Still we get the same old Gruel.
There's not a crust, Not a crumb, Can we find, Can we beg can we borrow or cadge.
But there's nothing to stop us from getting a thrill, When we all close our eyes and imagine
Food, glorious food, Hot sausage and mustard. While we're in the mood, Cold jelly and custard.
Peas, pudding and saveloys. What next is the question
Rich gentlemen have it, boys
In-die-gestion!”
Isabella: Shut up and eat your dinner!
Seamus: Well hurry up then!
Isabella: OOOOh miss Bumble shall we get our dinner?
Seamus: : Yes. What should we have?
Isabella: pizza?
Seamus: mmmm delicious
Isabella: Then Jelly and ice cream for pudding?
Seamus: Come on, I'm starving.
S1:This is disgusting.
S2:mine is cold
S3: Mine is salty
S4:mine has a hair in it!
S5: I’m finished
A whisper is passed down the line.
Elsie: You want me to ask for more?
Everyone: YEAH!!
Elsie: Why me?
Everyone: You’re brave!
Elsie: OK
Elsie crosses the stage to the Bumbles.
Elsie: Please can I have some more?
Isabella: MORE!!??
Seamus: Cheeky child!
Isabella:: What will we do with her?
Seamus: Let's drop her off in the spooky forest and leave her!
Isabella: Great idea.
Daisy and Edith take Marnie off stage left.
The rest of the children make a plan.
Kieran: We can't let them get away with this!
Ellie: We need a plan.
Leo: Let’s put a spell on them.
Libby: Lets get ingredients
All the children grab various ingredients and put it in the cauldron.
“I put a spell on you” begins to play. The children mime mixing up the spell.
Isabella and Seamus enter
Isabella: What are you up to?
Seamus: Children, answer us!
Libby: Right everyone, Let’s get them!
The children start laughing and grab handfuls of potion. They chase The Bumbles off the stage and out of town!
All children EXIT to the right wing.
SCENE EIGHT
Ellie, Libby and Evie enter
Evie: I don't know about you girls but I feel really frightened after all of those scary stories.
Ellie: Me too!
Libby: We need to change the subject
Evie: Like a distraction?
Libby: Yeah, but what?
Ellie: My Mam always tells me to sing a song if I feel frightened.
Libby: We could try that!
Evie: Great idea.
All the cast enter
FINALE
Sing and sign True Colours. Double bow, clap to the audience, exit right wing.
The Jam-town called Malice comes on, enter all the cast to freestyle dance.
All cast and director: Jenny and assistants: CJ and Lauren for another double bow.
Kids sit on stage.
