DECEMBER 2021
Our last classes this term are: Monday 13th, Wednesday 15th, Friday 17th and Saturday 18th of December.
On these dates children can attend class in their Christmas PJS. I will be bringing in Sweeties, cakes and crisps.
If your child is unable to attend this year's Christmas performance on Sunday 19th December, please feel free to come along ten minutes prior to the end of class, on their last session of the term, to see some last minute performance rehearsals.
January 2022
I have some exciting news for the new year. After working ten years growing RTS, we will finally have our very 1st permanent venue!!!
Our room will be located within the Howdon Hub and it is the old footsteps nursery. I am so excited to create a theatre in the space and really put our stamp on it.
This will open up our timetable to new classes. Look forward to:
Stage and set design classes with our very own resident artist Lauren Tate.
One to one sessions
Sensory baby classes
Advanced acting class
Birthday parties
Adult Acting
Half term and holiday kids club
Film club
We will announce, on social media, an open party in January, as well as the new time table on our website.

Time: Wednesday and Friday students: dress rehearsal at 12pm and show to start at 1pm.
Monday and Saturday students: dress rehearsal at 2pm and performance at 3pm.
All students arrive in full costume and wait in the cafe area
Location: Howdon Community Hub, Denbigh Avenue, Wallsend NE28 0PP. Main Hall
Dress: Elf Costumes, Toy Costumes and family costumes.
Costumes: we request a £10 contribution to costumes. This will help us to provide your child with specific costume needs.
Children are free to attend this show, Adult Tickets cost £5.
Tickets are limited to two per family due to room capacity.
**The script is the outline of the show and does not need to be rigid. Most of the students ad lib and often step in for each other, if any one has been off sick. Don’t worry about being word perfect. As long as you have fun and try your best, that is all that matters!**
Thank you
Jenny Nicol and Lauren Tate
